Let’s jump right to it.
First, login to your Kindle Direct Publishing account.
Locate the Kindle ebook you wish to unpublish.
Click on the three-dotted button to the far right of the ebook.
Select Unpublish eBook and a pop-up will state By confirming, you will be unpublishing your book.
Click the Unpublish button and you’re done.
You’ll notice your ebook is still in your account and this is not unusual. In fact, there isn’t any way to remove an ebook or its metadata entirely without having some kind of inside help at Amazon.
The good news is the unpublished ebook will eventually drop to the bottom of your pile of published books and will only occasionally surface when Amazon accesses your account.
