Fiverr is one of the best freelance platforms for people looking for affordable ways to improve their branding, outreach, and engagement. The platform has thousands of sellers that offer various services for cheap with quick turnaround times. Thus, it is imperative you fully understand how Fiverr works to obtain the best cover design for you.

How Does Fiverr Work?
Fiverr is the platform where people can avail cheap services from freelancers all over the world. Offering a wide range of
services at a low cost, you can hire people to do data entry, programming, writing, graphic design, and even legal work. Although it depends on your agreement with the vendor, most services often start at five dollars, hence the platform’s name.
Upon entering the site, potential buyers receive a warm welcome from many sellers offering different kinds of services. If you have no idea how the site works, you can get lost in the crowd and find it difficult to obtain quality work. Users must check the seller reviews to determine the testimonials from the people they worked with before.
There are thousands of book cover designers currently listed in Fiverr. No one has time to review a plethora of options all at once. So, you must look for a designer that maintains integrity in their work, offers a unique design and exceptional customer service. To help you better understand the differences between sellers on Fiverr, I hired 10 designers to create a book cover. Let’s take a look at the project they were given and what I received:
The Project
Ten Fiverr freelancers had the freedom to exert their creativity into the cover design with one essential requirement, implement the book cover’s brand logo subtly. It is supposed to be included in the title, How to Write a Book in 48 Hours, but not considered the focal point. Each seller had ample time to finish their deliverables within 1 to 5 days, including some revisions if necessary.
#1 Pro_ebookcovers (Top Rated Seller) 5.0 Ratings (35,575 reviews)
This Fiverr designer offers eye-catching book cover designs for only $10. Although they were not given source images for the book cover, they put together a compelling design, which would make any book stand out. The clash of yellow, red, and blue is smart in itself, and the only problem would be the white outline on the texts. It may have spiced up the cover, but it drifted away from the simplistic design that I wanted. Overall, the book cover design is already a steal for its price, considering it matches a professional’s work. See more about Pro_ebookcovers here.
#2 germancreative (Level 2 Seller) 4.9 Ratings (32,567 reviews)
They offered a book cover with a 3D mockup in a span of 2 days for only $10. The finished product also includes a document discussing the licensing agreement for both commercial and personal use of the book cover. This inclusion prevents future issues when I use the commissioned work for commercial purposes.
From the design perspective, I didn’t like the color combination. I felt the design elements blend in a way that closely resembles a template. See more about germancreative here.
#3 Dhananjayaeffec (Level 2 Seller) 4.9 Ratings (360 Reviews)
Offering the fastest turnaround time at the lowest price ($5), you can already see results within 24 hours. The inclusion of their services would also include .png 3D rendering of the book cover. Although the offer looks promising, the font choice seems a little bit off-putting. The design is also commonplace for a lot of books focused on self-publishing. Other than that, they made sure to follow the instruction integrating the brand logo at the top without overpowering the entire design. See more about Dhananjayaeffec here.
#4 Pro_graphics360 (Level 2 Seller) 5.0 Ratings (230reviews)
For $10, this designer crafts a workable book cover within 24 hours. Although the color yellow may work in some books, it does not work in this case. The glittery font is also a little off-putting, and the clipart at the top of the title looks questionable. Overall, you can already get two book covers for the price of one. Not bad! See more about Pro_graphics360 here.
#5 Lauria 5.0 ratings (4,587 reviews)
When a designer is offering book cover designs for as low as $5, it’s hard to go wrong. Initially, we had some minor misunderstandings with the design, they managed to come through. The designer offered three different book cover designs after clarifying the goal of the gig. The second design is somewhat similar to Dhananjayaeffec’s design, but Lauria managed to elevate it. Paying close attention to the details in the design and typography, the designer did a great job overall. See more about Lauria here.
#6 PixelStudio (Top Rated Seller) 5.0 Ratings (14,029 reviews) 23 orders in queue
With this designer, you get high-quality work, considering they ensure the elements on the book cover design are on-par with your branding. They thoroughly communicated with me throughout the project and took care of the rest for as low as $10. The book cover shows great typography, shadow placement, and unique, eye-catching borders. See more about PixelStudio here.
#7 rebecacovers (Level 2 Seller) 4.9 Ratings (12,888 reviews)
The designer boasts expertise in designing beautiful book covers for only $5. This gig already includes 3D rendering and licensing for copyright. Utilizing unique elements like coffee mugs, crumpled papers, and a notebook adds a nice touch to the cover design. They also made sure to follow my instructions for including the brand logo subtly on the cover. See more about rebecacovers here.
#8 Manish414 (Top Rated Seller) 5.0 Ratings (2,936 reviews)
For only $10, the designer managed to add flair to the book cover within 24 hours. The color choice is excellent, and all of the elements made for a well-integrated layout. Unlike other designers, they don’t offer PSD and 3D rendering of the cover design. See more about Manish414 here.
#9 printok (Level 2 Seller) 5.0 Ratings (2,362 reviews)
The designer offers a creative book cover which is already a steal for only $5. The entire color scheme is intuitive, perfectly aligning with the brand. However, they failed to implement the brand logo as stated in the instructions. There was a bit of a delivery issue, but they were quick to let me know about it. Overall, the design works the way it is, as they made every element meld with one another perfectly. See more about printok here.
#10 Dcamorlinga (Level 2 Seller) 5 Ratings (650 reviews)
The top designer among the ten Fiverr sellers is Dcamorlinga. Right off the bat, this designer offers exceptional customer service as the only one who provided four different design concepts they had in mind. While providing their creativity, she asked me for input before going over the design. Making the stopwatch match the book logo was clever, as it amplified the book’s important aspects. Although they charge slightly higher ($15 in 3 days) than the rest, the book cover turned out great. See more about Dcamorlinga here.
Final Thoughts
Ultimately, I really like Dcamorlinga’s book cover design the most. In the next few months, you’ll see this short read roll out with the cover design.

I Hired 10 Designers on Fiverr for 1 Cover Design Video
This post was written in coordination with corthoney on Fiverr and featured on the video for I Hired 5 Article and Blog Post Writers on Fiverr.
A Note from Dale
While most of my blog posts consist of my writing or a guest post writer, this article was different. I wanted to illustrate how easy and affordable it is create a robust backlog of blog posts on your website. The blog post writer did nearly all the work, while I still produced the main content with the above-embedded video. Corthoney simply used the video as the framework and developed a post about book cover design services I bought on Fiverr.
The question is:
Was Corthoney worth the investment?
I’ll let you judge! Learn more about this experience in my latest video where I Hired 5 Article and Blog Post Writers on Fiverr.
